Wholistic Stress Management Workshop


Friday, April 29, 2016 - 8:30am - 5:30pm

The workshop will provide an understanding and
overview of wholistic stress management
prevention and intervention strategies for practical
use in your daily life. The focus of this workshop
is wholistic - honoring the integration and
balance of the mind, emotion, body and spirit
for optimum well-being.

The purpose of the workshop is to help participants:

1) Gain a sound background in wholistic approaches
for stress management;

2) Learn the causes, signs and symptoms of stress
and distress and its effects on your health; and

3) Learn a variety of stress reduction and effective
relaxation techniques for daily use.

The CDC has stated that: "A prolonged bout of stress
can affect your health and ability to cope with life."

Participants will learn and practice positive
coping skills to manage and reduce stress.
Topics to be addressed include deep
breathing, relaxation, affirmation, visualization,
massage therapy, bio feedback, aromatherapy,
acupressure, rational thinking, nutrition, Tai Chi/
Chi Gong exercises and other wholistic technique
will be taught in a relaxed atmosphere.
