An introductory course to Chinese Healing Exercises called ‚ÄúChi-gong‚ÄĚ.¬†¬† Chi-gong is a series of slow moving and gentle exercises which include relaxation, visualization and deep breathing.¬† Chi means "energy" and Gong means "work". This class is designed to assist you in developing skills in to manage stress, anger and conflict in your life. ¬†Structuring Self Management Class is for those challenged by: personal, professional, and parenting pressures, self control and problem solving. ¬†Class are offered Every 3rd Saturday of Each Month from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. ¬†Cost: $75. ¬†Certificate of completion provided at the end of the class. ¬†Contact the WSCI office for more information and/or to register.

Wholistic Stress Management Two-Day Training
This certification workshop is designed to train health educators and other professionals in the wholistic approach to stress managment and how to teach, direct, facilitate presentations/workshops at their worksites or in their community settings. The focus of this workshop is wholistic-honoring the integregation, balance and harmony of mind, body and spirit for optimum well-being. The workshop will cover wholistic stress management, prevention and intervention approaches for children/youth and adults.
Traveling by Automobile
If traveling 285N, take the CASCADE Exit 7 and turn right. If traveling 285S, take the CASACDE Exit 7 and turn left. 1.7 miles. Turn LEFT onto WILLIS MILL RD SW. 0.4 miles. At top of hill is a split Audubon and Willis Mill. If you take street on the left (Audubon) cross over Benjamin E. Mays and turn into parking lot. If you take the street on the right turn left onto BENJAMIN E MAYS DR SW and then a right on Audubon.
Take 20 W to exit 52A South (H.E. Holmes) cross over M.L. King Drive (street name changes to Peyton Rd) take Peyton Rd to Benjamin E. Mays (red light) and turn left. Two blocks on the left is Hoosier United Methodist Church.
From I-20 East
Take 20 E to exit 52A (Holmes) take a left at the light and a right on Holmes, cross over M.L. King Drive (street name changes to Peyton Rd) take Peyton Rd to Benjamin E. Mays (red light) and turn left. Two blocks on the left is Hoosier United Methodist Church. Turn at left the second street (Audubon) and park in the rear of the church.
*Parking is available in the rear of the church. Follow the signs to WSCI, located upstairs on the second floor. Entrance is on the left side of the building where the stairs are leading from the street down a hill to the double doors. A WSCI sign is on the door where you enter.
Traveling on Marta
Take the Marta train southbound to West End Station. Take the 71 Cascade (Runs every 20 min ‚Äď 9:10 would be the best time) and get off at Beecher pass the Beautiful Restaurant. Turn right on Beecher and then left on B.E. Mays (Fire Station) go two blocks to Hoosier UMC church. 68 Donnelly (run every 20 min and 9:26 is the best time) get off at Providence Baptist church and walk two blocks down to Hoosier UMC church.
*WSCI is located in the Hoosier United Methodist Church on the second floor. Entrance is on the left side of the building where the stairs are leading from the street down a hill to the double doors. A WSCI sign is on the door where you enter.
